``IT'S JUST A DEPRESSING. . . ,'' JOB SUPERINTENDENT SAYS

Kent Kidwell, left, the on-site superintendent for the general

contractor of the Virginia Beach amphitheater, walks away from

damage cause by vandals at the construction site over the weekend.

Kidwell said the vandals started a grader early Saturday and ran it

into a drainage ditch. Then they started a bulldozer and ran it into

a cinderblock wall. The vandals finally deposited the bulldozer on

top of the grader, rendering the grader inoperable, above.
