ROBERTA M. HODGDON

Roberta Moore Hodgdon, 77, of the 400 block of Woodleigh Road, died Oct. 31, 1995, in Virginia Beach.

Mrs. Hodgdon, the widow of Gordon R. Hodgdon, was a native of Newport, Vt. She was a member of Knotts Island United Methodist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Rebecca Hodgdon and Barbara Alexander both of Rutland, Vt., and Joyce Arnold of Dallas, Texas; two sons, Hale W. Hodgdon of Knotts Island, and Tim Hodgdon of Vergennes, Vt.; two sisters, Mary Ellen Descouteaux of Concord, Vt., and Geraldine Akley of Dallas; one brother, John ``Bud'' Moore Jr. of Orleans, Vt.; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The body will be sent from Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, to Curtis-Britch Funeral Home in Newport for services and burial. Memorial donations may be made to Knotts Island United Methodist Church or to the Library Fund of Knotts Island Elementary School.
