James F. Hollywood, 90, a resident of Marian Manor, died Oct. 30, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mr. Hollywood, a retired motorman, worked for the New York Transit Authority for 30 years. He also worked for the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. He was a native of Bessbrook County, Armagh, Ireland, and was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. He was a member of Ancient Order of the Hibernians Division (NU)6, and an auxiliary member of the Legion of Mary.
Survivors include two daughters, Margaret Duncan and T. Leontia Hollywood, both of Norfolk; one son, James F. Hollywood of Floral Park, N.Y.; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Annie K. Hollywood and a grandson, Michael Jude Duncan.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Pius X Catholic Church by the Rev. William J. Dale. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. A Rosary and nocturnal adoration Prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday in St. Pius X Catholic Church, Norfolk, where visitation will follow until 9 p.m. Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, in charge.
