Danny Glen Deskins, 51, of the 23000 block of Hanging Tree Road, died Oct. 31, 1995.
Mr. Deskins was born in Bishop, Va., and was the owner and operator of Danny's Restaurant in Courtland for the past 18 years. He attended Southwest Virginia Community College and was an Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Brenda Gail Hill Deskins; one daughter, Hilliary Jean Deskins; one son, Charles Kevin Deskins, all of Courtland; his father, George Deskins of Bishop; and one brother, Tommy Deskins of North Tazewell, Va.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Riverside Cemetery by Dr. Gary Powell and the Rev. James Browder. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, and suggest that memorials be made to the Courtland Rescue Squad or Courtland Baptist Church Building Fund.
