Donnell ``D.J.'' Jackson, 36, of the 4600 block of Greenwood Drive, died Oct. 30, 1995, in Maryview Hospital, Portsmouth.
He was a native of Norfolk. Survivors include his wife, Iris A. Jackson; two sons, Mark Anderson and Rico Delridge, both of Portsmouth; his mother and stepfather, Betty Bynum and John Bynum, both of Portsmouth; two sisters, Angela Hampton and Dana Creecy, both of Portsmouth; three brothers, Timothy Jackson of Portsmouth, Calvin Lewter of Upper Marlboro, Md., and James Jackson Jr. of Fayetteville, N.C.; maternal grandmother, Connie Hayes of Durham, N.C.; one aunt, Annie Bowen; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Corprew Funeral Home Chapel, Portsmouth, by the Rev. Gregory Webb and Rev. Marguerite Riveria. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. Viewing at the funeral home will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday. The family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Friday.
