It appears that the federal government is going to allocate funds directly to state governments to spend as they see fit.
In view of these probable changes, the outcome of this election becomes one of the most important ever. On Nov. 7, voters will decide who will exercise these new powers and spend the monies.
The Democrats have a long record of wasteful spending and failed social programs, so we better not let them get their hands on these funds.
After more than 100 years of Democratic majority, it is time to give the Republicans a chance to put their policies of conservative government and fiscal responsibility into effect.
