Anita Moore Slauzis, 66, of the 700 block of Baywood Trail, died Oct. 31, 1995, in her residence.
She was a native of Baltimore, Md., and was the widow of Michael Slauzis. She was a retired customer service representative for Central Fidelity Bank and belonged to Trinity Episcopal Church, Portsmouth.
She is survived by daughter, Michele Moore Watson of Chesapeake; three sons, Patrick R. Moore of Colorado Springs, Col., Carey R. Moore of Keene, N.H., Terrence J. Moore of Big Pine Key, Fla.; sister, Barbara Roach of Baltimore; two brothers, Harold Higgs of Centerville, Md., and Donald Higgs of Baltimore; and six grandchildren, Brad and Stacie Watson, Jason and Jennifer Moore, Danielle and Ashley Moore.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by Dr. Geoffrey M. Hahnenan. Burial is in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 7 to 8 p.m.
