MALLORY V. POE

Mallory Vinnson Poe, 82, of the 100 block of Iroquois Road, died Nov. 1, 1995.

He was a retired platform supervisor for Boush Cold Storage and was formerly with the Navy Supply Center. He was a native of Winston-Salem, N.C. and was the widower of Ethel Estelle Poe. He was a Baptist and a member of Lost Chords Club of Virginia.

He is survived by four daughters, Shirley P. Cash of Portsmouth, Mary Y. Teagle of Los Angeles, Marian L. Alterio of Virginia Beach, and Carolyn S. Twiford of Richmond; son, Thomas M. Poe of Virginia Beach; 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. Entombment will be in Rosewood Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
