Earl G. Shields, 70, died Oct. 31, 1995.
A memorial service will be conducted today at 7 p.m. by the Rev. Bob DeWitt at Calvin Presbyterian Church with the family remaining to receive friends afterward. Friday morning at 10:30 a.m., friends and family will gather at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, to form a procession for burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to The Renovation Fund, Calvin Presbyterian Church, 2901 E. Little Creek Road, Norfolk, Va. 23518.
