WILLIAM GEORGE

William George, 78, of the 10 block of Janaf Place, died Oct. 31, 1995.

Mr. George was a native of Norfolk where he worked for Colonial Stores for 25 years, Be-Lo for 22 years, and most recently for Wal Mart. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of The Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Annunciation in Norfolk.

Survivors include a nephew, Andrew Samuel George of Virginia Beach; a niece, Harriet Ann George of Norfolk; two great nephews, Robert William George and D.J. Rook.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at The Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Annunciation by Father Constantine Rogakos and Father Savas Constantinou. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. A Trisagion service will be conducted today at 7 p.m. at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel.
