The phone number in Wednesday's Voter Guide for James W. ``Jay''
Sherrill Jr., a candidate for the 88th District seat in the House of
Delegates, was incorrect. The correct number is 440-5100.
A story in Wednesday's MetroNews section incorrectly said that
10,567 parcels of Dare County land owned by Virginians were assessed
at $1.11 million. The assessed total is $1.11 billion.
The first name and title of Joseph W. Luter III, chairman of
Smithfield Foods Inc., were missing from an Associated Press story
Wednesday about a political donation.
