FIRE ESCAPE update.
Due to much pleading, the management of the soon-to-be-closed Fire Escape has been given a reprieve. The club's closing date has been postponed from Nov. 15 to the first of the year. Barbra Gelnett, manager of the Fire Escape, has said that after that, they will also continue to have shows at other locations.
Here is a list of shows for early November:
Tonight is Fold Zandura (with former members of Mortal) and Exit Eden. Tickets are $8, showtime is 9 p.m.
Saturday is the Prayer Chain with Sweet Nectar (with former members of Four Living Creatures) and Legacy. Tickets are $8, showtime is 9 p.m.
Next Friday is J.K. Flip Flops.
And Saturday, Nov. 11, is Godfarmers (these guys are rad!).
When new shows are added to the schedule, I'll let you know. MEMO: Alicia Luma is a homeschooled high school senior. Her column appears
