George O. Dooley, 91, of the 1000 block of Sunnyside Drive, died Nov. 2, 1995, in Norfolk.
Mr. Dooley, a native of Bedford County, Va., was retired from the Naval Supply Center as an aviation technician. He was the oldest member of Westwood Hills Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Florence Keith Cooke Dooley; two sons, Alton L. Cooke and his wife, Victoria F. Cooke, and Eddie C. Cooke Sr. and his wife, Phyllis C. Cooke, all of Virginia Beach; four grandchildren, E. Carroll Cooke and his wife, Julie S. Cooke, Denette O. Cooke, Sean J. Colley, Colleen C. Koch; several half-brothers, half-sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, by the Rev. Jess Jackson. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to Westwood Hills Baptist Church Building Fund.
