Raymond H. Farris, 80, of the 1700 block of Tarrall Ave., died Nov. 1, 1995.
Mr. Farris, the widower of Mabel Farris, was a retired bus driver. He worked for Tidewater Regional Transit Co. for 37 years. He was a member of the Amalgamated Transit Union for the past 52 years, and an avid Redskin Fan since 1960. He served in the Navy.
Survivors include one son, Raymond L. Farris of Virginia Beach; three grandchildren, Kenneth Farris, Steven Farris and Wendy Farris, all of Chesapeake; two nieces, Linda Ogle of Norfolk and Gloria Pfeiffer of Jacksonville, Fla.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Rosewood Memorial Park by the Rev. Frank E. Drake. The family will receive friends at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. today.
