A 23-year-old man was arrested Thursday and charged with two murders in the Dale Homes area.
Keith Lamont Columbus of the 100 block of Wilson Parkway was being held without bond Thursday night on charges of murder and using a firearm while committing a felony.
Police believe he is responsible for a fatal stabbing in April and a shooting death in September.
On April 7, 1994, police were called to the railroad tracks under the Interstate 264 overpass near Dale Drive, where they found the body of Bruce E. ``Peanut'' Moody, 33, of the 2500 block of Graham St. He had been stabbed and was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Sept. 8, Reginald Andre Anderson, 32, whose last known address was in the 100 block of Wilson St., was found shot in the 200 block of Dale Drive.
He died several hours later in a hospital.
