BRUCE WILCOX IS A STAR

In this turbulent election year, Bruce Wilcox, in the 5th Senatorial District, is a star.

A true gentleman of deep intellect and strong leadership ability, he has a mild voice and manner and stands high above the gutter of dirty politics. For example, he refused to participate in the regrettable TV ad using degrading statistics depicting Norfolk as an unfit place to live, blaming Democrats and chasing away newcomers.

Bruce's ``Wilcox For Senate'' brochure shows no party affiliation because, he said, ``I want to be elected by voters of all persuasions and to represent all equally, fairly and nobly.''

As president of the Norfolk Civitan Club, Bruce, the father of six fine children, showed his sensitivity toward physically and mentally handicapped children by vigorously supporting Camp Civitan, which serves them.

We can out-do Congress and set our own ``term limit'' through the ballot. Isn't 12 years enough for the incumbent?

A vote for Bruce Wilcox will give Governor Allen support ``for change.''
