As an environmentalist, I still sing praises for Fred Quayle for his brilliant idea to raise funds for the Chesapeake Bay fund from the sale of Chesapeake Bay license plates. It is most important for him to maintain his seat in the Senate, and we can move into the new millennium with responsible leadership.
Mr. Quayle has shown keen interest in and worked hard for children through his support of education, his dedication to the Portsmouth Children's Museum and his caring for the environment for ourselves and the children of the future.
