Catherine Moye Johnson, 51, died Oct. 29, 1995, in Duke Medical Center, after being ill for three months.
She was born April 4, 1944, and was a native of Norfolk. She worked at the Army Air Force Exchange Service as a re-order associate since 1981. She was a member of Warren Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Elight Johnson, Chief Master Sgt.; her parents, Nevada and Jessie Moye; son, Keith Johnson; daughter, Kendra Johnson; brothers, Robert Moye and Joseph Moye; sisters, Jesse Smith, Barbara Twine, Ruth Hill, Emma Lawrence, Maxine Nowell.
A funeral will be conducted in Warren Grove Missionary Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Saturday by the Rev. Wilbert Mills Sr. Burial is in Beaver Hill Cemetery, Edenton. Blair Funeral Home in charge.
