Kathryn Shipp Wade, 81, of 609 Delaware Ave., died Thursday, Nov. 2, 1995, in a Virginia Beach Rehabilitaion center.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Virginia Beach, and was the loving wife of the late Frank Jobson Wade.
She is survived by four sons, Frank S. Wade, Mike Vanture and Keith Vanture, all of Virginia Beach, and Victor Vanture of Memphis, Tenn.; daughter, Judy Barth of Riverside, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted Tuesday, Nov. 7, at 5 p.m. in the Maestas Funeral Home, Baltic Ave. Chapel, by the Rev. Richard J. Yates. Please, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad Building Fund, P.O. Box 945, Virginia Beach, 23451. After the services, the family will receive friends at the residence of Keith Vanture, 2553 Maymont Court, Red Mill Farms, Virginia Beach.
