Glenn Burroughs, 68, of Susan, died Friday, Nov. 3, 1995.
He was a native of Mathews County and a deacon and trustee of Macedonia Baptist Church, Foster. He retired in 1989 as a marine deisel chief engineer with the Northeast Regional Fleet of Texaco Inc.
He is survived by his wife, Judy O. Burroughs; daughter, Glenda B. and husband, Roy Ashbaugh of Richmond; son, Michael G. and wife, Tamela Burroughs of Mechanicsville; mother, Ethelyn D. Burroughs of Mathews; sister, Rosalyn Hudgins of Norfolk; brother, Wilbur Coles Burroughs of Catonsville, Md.; and two grandchildren Dustin and Rilee Burroughs.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery, Susan. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 8:30 p.m in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Macedonia Baptist Church Building Fund, c/o Raymond F.
