LLOYD T. COPELAND

Lloyd Thomas Copeland, of the 4100 block of Wake Ave., died Nov. 1, 1995, in Chesapeake General Hospital.

Mr. Copeland, a retired fork lift operator, worked for the Norfolk Naval Air Station for 31 years. He was the husband of the late Beatrice E. Copeland and a native of Gates County, N.C. He was a member of New Mount Olive A.M.E. Church, Chesapeake, and a member of the Trustee Board.

Survivors include one son, Benjamin W. Copeland Sr. and his wife, Johnnie M. Copeland, both of Chesapeake; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in New Mount Olive A.M.E. Church, 916 Middle St., South Hill, Chesapeake, by the Rev. James H. Johnson. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Fitchett Funeral Home in charge.
