BERTHA L. RIDDICK

Bertha L. Riddick, of the 100 block of West 36th St., died Nov. 1, 1995.

Mrs. Riddick, the widow of Winfred M. Riddick, was a member of First Baptist Church, Lamberts Point, Norfolk.

Survivors include 11 daughters, Barbara Tyson, Alberta Tyson, Pinkey Hill, Peggie McDonald, Sabrina Riddick, Clara Riddick, Ethel Riddick, Blanche Flemming, all of Norfolk, Michelle M. Stokes of Maryland, Lola M. Johnson and Deloris Matthews, both of New Jersey; one son, William H. Simmons of Hampton; three sisters, Hilda M. Hunter of Chesapeake, Hazel Duke and Ida Brown, both of New York; one brother, Ollie Simmons of Norfolk; 41 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Louise Simmons of Norfolk; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Monday in First Baptist Church, Lamberts Point, by the Rev. Anthony Paige. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be Sunday from 2 to 7 p.m. Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, in charge.
