Harry Mann Sears, 91, died Friday, Nov. 3, 1995 in Chesapeake General Hospital.
He was a native of Currituck County and retired after 40 years with the Ford Assembly Plant as an inspector. He was a member of the Local 919 United Auto Workers Union and was a member of the Moyock United Methodist Church. Mr. Sears was the son of the late Caleb Mercer and Luna Cotter Sears, and the husband of Elizabeth Jones Sears of the home, to whom he had been married for 57 years.
Besides his wife, he is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 3 p.m. in the Moyock United Methodist Church with Roderic Mullen, pastor. Burial will be in the Moyock Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, gifts maybe made to the building fund of the Moyock United Methodist Church, c/o Carol Bell, 375 Pudding Ridge Road, Moyock, N.C. 27958. Twiford's Memorial Chapel, Elizabeth City, is in charge of the arrangements.
