CRIME REPORT

DISTRICT A

Vandalism, 4600 block Hardy Drive, Oct. 12, someone vandalized property after an eviction.

Grand larceny, Bennetts Creek Park, Oct 16, someone removed a cellular phone.

Felonious assault, 5100 block Townpoint Road, Oct. 16, a parent reports that someone struck her son in the head with a stick.

DISTRICT B

Hit and run, 4300 block Godwin Blvd., Oct. 12, a vehicle was forced off the road and into a ditch when another car drifted into the lane. The other vehicle did not stop.

DISTRICT C

Armed robbery, 900 block North Main St., Oct. 13, someone entered a business, dragged the cashier behind the counter and demanded that the register be opened. The man grabbed money and fled.

Forgery and uttering, 100 block North Main St., Oct. 13, someone's payroll check was signed and cashed.

Vandalism, 300 block South Wellons St., Oct. 14, someone smashed a vehicle window with a rock.

Robbery, 200 block West Washington St., Oct. 14, while getting into his car, a man was approached by a teenager who held a screwdriver and demanded money. During a struggle, the man was stabbed. His wallet, containing $250, credit cards and identification, was removed.

Breaking and entering, 100 block South Saratoga St., Oct. 15, someone broke open the window of a business, gaining access to the door lock. Several drawers were opened and emptied and lockers broken into, but nothing was taken.

Armed robbery, 900 block North Main St., Oct. 16, two men were drinking together behind a store. When one returned from a store, his companion displayed a handgun, threatened to shoot him and removed $15 from the man's pocket before leaving.

Unauthorized use of motor vehicle, 500 block Kilby Ave., Oct. 16, a family member borrowed a pickup truck but didn't return it.

Robbery, 400 block West Washington St., Oct. 18, a man was pushed off his bicycle and advised to stay down or be shot. The 21-speed, 27-inch, black Equana Mountain Bike was taken.

Petty larceny, 400 block Market St., Oct. 18, someone left his title, registration and city decal in the men's room of the Municipal Building. When he returned for the items, they were missing.

Unauthorized use of motor vehicle, 2500 Pruden Blvd., Oct. 18, someone rented a car from a business and did not return it.

Breaking and entering, 600 block Alexander Court, Oct. 18, someone entered a residence through a kitchen window and removed three large jars of quarters valued at $400.

DISTRICT D

Missile thrown at motor vehicle, 2100 block East Washington St., Oct. 12, someone threw a rock at a windshield.

Missile thrown at motor vehicle, Constance Road and Katherine Street, Oct. 12, someone threw apples at a car.

Forgery, 600 block of Carolina Road, Oct. 13, someone forged another person's name on a traffic summons.

Petty larceny, 300 block East Washington St., Oct. 13, someone removed the rear license plate for a vehicle.

Felonious assault, 500 block Cullodan St., Oct. 15, a person was shot twice in the leg when another man attempted to rob him.

Motor vehicle theft, 100 block Commerce St., Oct. 16, a 4-door, aqua, '93 Plymouth Sundance was removed from a business without permission.

Breaking and entering, 400 block Webb St., Oct. 16, someone broke into a shed by removing a portion of metal around the lock and hasp. A black and green Huffy boy's mountain bike valued at $150 was removed.

DISTRICT E

Stolen firearm, 5000 block Indian Trail, Oct. 14, a man was left alone in a room with a Kel Tec P-11 9mm pistol. When the person returned to give change, the man and the weapon were missing.

Breaking and entering, 4900 block Quaker Drive, Oct. 18, someone entered a residence and removed three sets of golf clubs. The culprit also entered the garage by kicking in a door and removed a gray Craftsman lawnmower.

DISTRICT F

Petty larceny, 6100 Whaleyville Blvd., Oct. 16, someone picked up a cellular phone from the front yard of a residence after it fell from a vehicle that was being towed. by CNB
