Colette Wazlak, 39, died Oct. 23, 1995, in Yokosuka, Japan.
She was a native of Jackson Heights, N.Y. and worked as a teacher.
She is survived by her husband, Alexander Wazlak; two sons, Alex Wazlak III of Virginia Beach, Christopher Lee Wazlak of Kamoi, Japan; parents, Helen Samsel and John Samsel, both of Ridewood, N.J.; two sisters, Helene Samsel of Mahwah, N.J. and Frances Rogers and husband, Steve of, Arvada, Colo.; two brothers, Dr. Fred Samsel and his wife, Diane of Milford, Del., and Eugene Samsel of Ridgewood, N.J.; and also many beloved friends.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday by the Rev. Robert Pittman in Princess Anne Memorial Park. Kellum Funeral Home, Pleasant Hall/Kempsville Chapel, in charge of the arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6 to 8 p.m. The family requests the donations be made to the SPCA.
