Elva G. Edwards, 92, of the 1200 block of Colonial Ave., died Nov. 4, 1995.
She was a housewife and a native of Aurora, N.C. She was the widow of Herman Edwards and was a member of Apostolic Church of Lord Jesus Christ, Berkley.
She is survived by three daughters, Addie L. Edwards of Riverhead, N.Y., Melvine Bernice Roberts of Mesa, Ariz., and Elva B. Mitchell of Lawnside, N.J.; two sons, Arlinza ``Lo'' Edwards and Floyd H. Edwards of Virginia Beach; sister, Lillian Miller of Aurora; 18 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren; and two daughters-in-law, Betty Edwards and Dorothy Edwards.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Hale Funeral Home, Norfolk. Burial will be in Roosevelt Cemetery. Family and friends will assemble at 4913 Sullivan Blvd., Virginia Beach, at noon Wednesday.
