James G. Hall, 85, died Nov. 3, 1995, in Norfolk.
He was a retired superintendent for Basic Construction. He was a native of Cherokee County, N.C., and member of Great Hope Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Cleo C. Hall; two daughters, Barbara McCartney of Williamsburg, Sandra Nicolia of Virginia Beach; two sons, James W. Hall of Virginia Beach and Richard G. Hall of Chesapeake; sister, Peggy Born of Norfolk; ten grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Betty Ann Fitzgerald.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m Monday by the Rev. John W. Godfrey in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel. Burial is in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Great Hope Baptist Church, 1401 Battlefield Blvd., Chesapeake.
