Doris Alveta Rodgers, 80, of the 100 block of Suburban Parkway, died Nov. 3, 1995.
She was a native of Norfolk and was a retired clerk. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She was also a member of Ocean View Garden Club and American Legion Auxiliary Unit (NU)327.
She is survived by three daughters, Marion Newcomb, Martha Brackin and Catherine Anderson, all of Norfolk; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday by the Rev. John Mason in Trinity Baptist Church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, Monday from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
