George Scott Chinn, 31, of the 5000 block of North Reese Drive, died Nov. 3, 1995.
He was a native of Portsmouth and was employed in auto wholesales. He was predeceased by his father, Dudley E. Chinn.
He is survived by his mother, Rose C. Gibson of Suffolk; stepfather, Ted Gibson of Suffolk; three sisters, Melinda Prever and her husband, Mitch of Pensacola, Fla., Shannon Stone and her husband, Bud of Suffolk, and Courtney Chinn of Suffolk; four brothers, Bubba Chinn and David Chinn, both of Portsmouth, and Adam Chinn and Mike Chinn, both of Suffolk; fiancee, Sheri Spires of Portsmouth; five nieces and nephews; and grandmother, Abbie Cross of Portsmouth.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday by the Rev. Tom Potter in Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel. Burial is in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
