Elizabeth Hart Parks, 79, a resident of Parksley for 56 years, died Sunday, Nov. 5, 1995, in Northampton-Accomack Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Parks was born in Bloxom and was the daughter of the late Henry Hart and Melissa Bloxom Hart. She attended Calvary United Methodist Church and was a member of Parksley Chapter, Order of Eastern Star (NU)168.
Survivors include her husband, C. Braxton Parks; two children, Ronnie Parks of Richmond and Carter Parks of Virginia Beach; four grandchildren; one great-niece; and two nephews.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. today in Williams-Parksley Funeral Home by the Rev. Janine Howard and the Rev. O.H. Burton Jr. Burial will be in Parksley Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary United Methodist Church Building Fund in care of Carl Ballar, P.O. Box 546, Parksley, Va. 23421, or to the Parksley Volunteer Fire Department.
