Cecil Lee R. Stout Sr., 58, died Nov. 5, 1995, in his residence.
Mr. Stout, a retired construction and maintenance employee, was a native of Damascus, Va. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy M. Stout; two daughters, Shannon Carrier of Virginia Beach and Susanne Fields of Norfolk; three sons, Bobby Brandt, Cecil Stout Jr., and Joseph Stout, all of Norfolk; his mother, Irene Hamm Stout of Norfolk; three sisters, Janet Thomas of Batesburg, S.C., Brenda Ion of Norfolk, and Judy Potts of Virginia Beach; a brother, Edward Stout of Anchorage, Alaska; and five grandchildren. Mr. Stout was predeceased by his father, John O.R. Stout, and a brother, Johnny Stout.
The family will receive friends at the Kellum Funeral Home, Pleasant Hall, Kempsville Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. The funeral will be private.
