FRED N. VINCILL

Fred N. Vincill, 66, of the 2900 block of Raven Ave., died Nov. 4, 1995, in Augusta, Ga.

Mr. Vincill, a sheet metal mechanic, retired from Norfolk Shipbuilding and Drydock Company in 1991. He was a native of Mcveigh, Ky., and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, Virginia Beach. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth C. Vincill; one daughter, Darlene Marie Churchwell of Virginia Beach; his stepmother, Sally Vincill of Varney, W.Va.; two sisters, Lucy Chafin of Rawl, W.Va., and Dora Waite of Varney; one brother, Edgar Eugene Vincill of Garner, N.C.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Oak Grove Baptist Church, 685 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. Joseph E. Brewer. Burial will be in Princess Anne Memorial Park Cemetery, Virginia Beach. The family will receive friends in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
