DANIEL E. EAKER

Daniel E. Eaker, 37, of the 1200 block of Basswood Court, died Nov. 4, 1995, in Chesapeake.

Mr. Eaker was born in Marion, Ind., and was employed with the Chesapeake Police Department for 13 years. He was a member of Great Bridge Masonic Lodge (NU)257, AF & AM. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Monica M. Eaker of Chesapeake; a daughter, Vanessa Lynn Eaker of Chesapeake; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Eaker of Indianapolis; two sisters, Kimberly Deem of Franklin, Ind., and Vickie Mays of Indianapolis; two brothers, Larry Eaker of Bedford, Ind., and Jimmy Eaker of Indianapolis; maternal grandmother, Mary Wolma of Indianapolis; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mr. Joseph McKellich and Doris Bridgers McKellich of Chesapeake.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, by Pastor Don Karnes. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today. Masonic rites will be accorded at the grave.
