Tenneco Inc., the Houston-based conglomerate that owns Newport News Shipbuilding, updated its corporate logo Monday. The new logo features the Tenneco name capped by an arc representing the company's ``bright horizon.'' Tenneco wants to shake its image as a natural gas company and emphasize its other businesses. It renamed its Tenneco Gas unit Tenneco Energy, and it renamed its Packaging Corp. of America subsidiary Tenneco Packaging to more closely identify the unit with its parent.
