Call me the ugly American, but I was offended by the public criticism of the United States by the leaders of France and Britain while speaking at the United Nations. These two nations owe the United States a debt that can never be repaid. In fact, were it not for the human and financial sacrifices by the American people during World Wars I and II and the Cold War, neither of these countries would exist today as sovereign nations. How soon we forget!
