COUNTY ADDS TWO NEWCOMERS TO THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

Voters elected two newcomers and returned four incumbents to the Board of Supervisors.

The newcomers: Carl J. Faison, Boykins District; and Dennis A. Maddrey, Berlin-Ivor District. Incumbent Reggie W. Gilliam of the Capron District overcame a challenge.

In the Franklin District, Walter L. Young Jr. was the winner.

Also elected were: County Treasurer David K. Britt, Revenue Commissioner John Robert Harrup; Commonwealth's Attorney Richard C. Grizzard, Sheriff Vernie W. Francis Jr., Drewryville district supervisor Dallas O. Jones, Jerusalem district supervisor Eppa J. ``Jimmy'' Gray, and Newsoms district supervisor Charleton W. Sykes. by CNB
