JAMES C. GREEN

James C. Green, 49, of the 1000 block of Dane Street, died Monday, Nov. 6, 1995, in Maryview Medical Center.

Mr. Green was born in Augusta, Ga., and was the son of Isaac and Martha Connell Green of Chesapeake. He was a self-employed draftsman and contractor and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Berkley Aerie.

Other survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, William and Pam Green of Fort Pierce, Fla.; his loving partner, Susan Wheeler of Chesapeake; other members of the family include Faith and Jimmy Rogerson of Moyock, Cindy and Rusty Sawyer of Moyock, John Wheeler of Virginia Beach; two grandchildren, Justin Rogerson and Jared Sawyer, both of Moyock; one niece, Shannon Russell; and one nephew, Dennis Green, both of Florida.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge, by the Rev. Neal Sasser. Interment will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Portsmouth-Chesapeake Unit, 2730 Ellsmere Ave., Norfolk, Va. 23513.
