Anne Bennett Scott, born Aug. 15, 1931, daughter of Garnett Bennett and Pauline Allison, went to heaven to join her Savior and Lord, and her mother, father, brothers, and other loved relatives and friends, on Nov. 8, 1995.
Anne devoted her life and love to her husband, Thomas M. Scott; and her sons, Tom Jr., Joe, Glenn and Bobby; her two daughters, Suzanne S. Chappell and Louise S. Hudson; as well as her 14 grandchildren; one great-grandson; two sisters; and two brothers. Anne will be lovingly remembered by her sons and daughters-in-law, and by the many other of her relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 11, 1995, at 11 a.m. in Olive Branch Cemetery. Father James E. Dorson will be officiating. Family will receive friends Friday, Nov. 10, 1995, in Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. All who knew Anne will always hold the memory of her love and her wit in their hearts. We all thank God for her special gift of giving herself to others.
