Donald Cecil Herline, 74, of the 5200 block of Norvella Ave., died Nov. 7, 1995, in Virginia Beach.
He was a retired supervisor from Norfolk and Western Railroad after 32 years os service. He was also a retired electrical contractor with Herline Corporation after 20 years. He was a native of Detroit, Mich., and the widower of Frances Marie Herline. He was also a member of Azalea Garden Church of God and was a U.S. Naval veteran of World War II.
He is survived by three daughters, Deborah Anne Herline Griffin of Norfolk, Frances Marie Bittler of Kentucky, Constance Lynn Edwards of California; two sons, Rodney Cecil Herline of Norfolk; Donald Thomas Herline of Georgia; three brothers, Orville Herline, Theodore Herline, and Clayton Herline, all of Michigan; and 12 grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday by Pastor Aubrey D. Maye in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
