Sidney L. Widener, 80, of Josephine Crescent, died Thursday, Nov. 9, 1995, in Lancaster General Hospital, Lancaster, Pa.
She was born on Jan. 3, 1915, in Hollsopple, Pa., the daughter of the late Miller E. and Laura A. Shaffer Leininger. She was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church, Virginia Beach.
She is survived by one daughter, Karen L. Widener of Virginia Beach; one brother, Kenneth V. Leininger of Fairview Township.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 1995, at 11 a.m. in Memorial United Methodist Church, Virginia Beach, with the Rev. Joseph T. Carson III officiating. Services and burial will be at 10 a.m. today in Myers Funeral Home, Harrisburg, Pa. Contributions can be made to Memorial United Methodist Church, 804 Gammon Road, Virginia Beach, Va. 23464.
