John M. Horton, 74, of the 1300 block of Wool Ave., died Nov. 8, 1995 in his home. He was a native of Wilson, N.C., and was an Army Air Force veteran.
Survivors include his sister, Esther M. Woodhouse of Portsmouth; two nieces, Minnie L. Boyd and Easter Archer, both of Portsmouth; five nephews; two great-nieces; one great-great-niece; cousins; in-laws and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Corprew Funeral Home by the Rev. T.M. Steele. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Viewing at the funeral home will begin at noon Sunday.
