Kemrial Rudolph ``Pete'' Stallings, 67, of Route 1, died Friday, Nov. 10, 1995, in his home.
Mr. Stallings was born in Gates County. The son of the late Kemrial R. Sr. and Mrs. Minnie Belle Ralph Stallings, he was a retired journeyman lineman with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. A member of Sandy Cross Baptist Church, he was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
Surviving are his wife, Peggy Johnson Stallings; three daughters, Deborah Fields of Edenton, Dianna Lynn Passell of Kinston and Karen Pisani of Warrington, Pa.; four sisters, Virginia Manseau of Harbinger, Frances Walke and Justine C. Persons, both of Portsmouth, and Margie H. Monds of Hobbsville; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Kemrial R. Stallings III and Robert K. Stallings; a sister, Pauline Winslow; and a brother, James Robert Stallings.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Sandy Cross Baptist Church by the Rev. Hugh Mizelle. Burial will follow in the Kemrial Stallings Family Cemetery with Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, handling arrangements. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home, and all other times at the residence.
