Joseph G. ``Joe Baby'' Williams, 56, of the 900 block of Godwin St., died Nov. 9, 1995, in Portsmouth General Hospital.

Survivors include his mother, Ethel Mae Williams of Portsmouth; four sisters, Mildred Green of Chesapeake, Nancy Hall of Philadelphia, Rosa Eure and Betty Parker, both of Portsmouth; seven brothers, James, Frederick, and Sherman Williams, all of Philadelphia, Johnny, Moses, Jack Jr., and Roger Williams, all of Portsmouth; 30 great-nieces and nephews; 20 great-great-nieces and nephews; four aunts, Rosa Parker, Maude Beckwith, Jennie Smith, Ruth Armstead; and one uncle, Charlie Smith. He was predeceased by his father, Jack Williams Sr.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Fisher Funeral Home by the Rev. Leon J. Boone. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery. The family will be at the residence. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
