Teri Doxey Bartholf, an angel on earth, now in Heaven, passed away on Nov. 5, 1995, following a long illness. A 1968 graduate of Wilson High in Portsmouth, she was born March 16, 1949.
A well known local artist, Mrs. Bartholf taught decorative art painting for many years and was a member of the National Society of Tole and Decorative Painters. Recently, she served as a court appointed special advocate for children with Henrico County's CASA program.
She is survived by her three sons; Stephen H. Bartholf, Lance Cpl. Ryan E. Bartholf, U.S. Marines, and Scott V. Bartholf, all of Richmond. She is also survived by her father, Robert R. Doxey of Suffolk and three stepbrothers and two stepsisters.
A memorial service will be held at River Road Baptist Church, 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 14. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the United Scleroderma Foundation, P.O. Box 399, Watsonville, Calif. 95077, or the Henrico County CASA Program, P.O. Box 70338, Richmond, Va. 23255.
