Walter A. Land, of the 2100 block of Dunbarton Drive, died Nov. 10, 1995.
Mr. Land, a retired greens keeper, worked for Princess Anne Country Club. He was a native of Princess Anne County.
Survivors include his wife, James Annis Land; two daughters, Karen A. Land of Virginia Beach and Dr. Dianne Whitefield-Locke of Mitchville, Md.; four sons, Nathaniel A. Land, Keith A. Land, Barry T. Land, and Blaine D. Land, all of Virginia Beach; one sister, Ella Anderson of Virginia Beach; 10 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in First Lynnhaven Baptist Church, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. Edgar L. Williams Jr. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Community Funeral Home, Virginia Beach Chapel, in charge.
