John Francis Lincoln Moran, 64, of the 1800 block of Blairmore Arch, died Nov. 8, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mr. Moran, a retired mechanical engineer, was a native of Newark, N.J. He was a member of Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Virginia Beach, St. Cecilia's Senior Citizens Group, Rockaway, N.J., VFW Post (NU)392, and AARP Chapter in New Jersey.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred J. Moran; two sons, Mark Moran and his wife, Judy Moran of Virginia Beach, Joel Moran and his fiancee, Laura McKnight of Chesapeake; and one grandson, Jordan Matthew Moran of Virginia Beach.
The funeral Mass will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Star of the Sea Catholic Church by Father William Sullivan. Burial will be in Quantico National Memorial Park at 2 p.m. Tuesday. The family asks for contributions to the American Cancer Society or to the Building Fund of Star of the Sea. Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, in charge.
