Rebecca Page Ayers, 43, of the 3600 block of Gateway Drive, died Nov. 11, 1995, in Maryview Medical Center.
She was a native of Portsmouth and was a retired clerk from Homestead Savings and Loan. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Elizabeth River Service League and a volunteer for Olive Branch Elementary School. She was the daughter of the late S.G. ``Buck'' Ayers and Dorothy Cooke Ayers.
Survivors include her aunt, Ruth C. Greene of Virginia Beach; three uncles, Milton Cooke of Weatherford, Texas, Louie Cooke of Kernersville, N.C., and Fred Ayers of Portsmouth; and numerous cousins.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Robert F. Cofield Jr. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 3 to 5 p.m. Memorials may be made to Edmarc Hospice for Children, 1131 Crawford Parkway, Portsmouth.
