Mary Whitley Hatfield, 87, died Nov. 9, 1995, at Obici Hospital.
Mrs. Hatfield was a native of Franklin and was the widow of Oley Lee Hatfield. She was the former owner and operator of Franklin Laundry and Drycleaners. She was a member of High Street United Methodist Church, its Friendship Bible Class and the High Street Senior Citizens.
Survivors include three sisters-in-law, Mamie S. Whitley of Franklin, Beatrice N. Whitley of Windsor, and Mary Whitley of Chesapeake; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Poplar Spring Cemetery by the Rev. Edward Johnson. The family will receive friends at Mrs. Mamie Whitley's home at 31538 Verna St., Franklin. Wright Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
