Elizabeth J. Duncan, 78, of 1100 block of Gauntlet Drive, died Nov. 10, 1995, in her home.
Mrs. Duncan, the widow of Arthur Duncan, was a native of Pittsburgh, Pa. She was a member of First Baptist Church South Portsmouth. She was also a member of several and various church auxiliaries, clubs, organizations and choirs.
Survivors include one son, Michael Duncan of Chesapeake; two uncles; and a host of cousins, including Dorsey and Ella Chappelle Jr.; in-laws and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church South Portsmouth, by the Rev. Warren E. Amlet. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Norfolk. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at noon Monday. The family will be at the funeral home from 5 to 6 p.m. Monday. The body will be taken to the church at 1 p.m. Tuesday. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday for the procession to the church.
