Maude Smithwick Lee, 84, of the 7300 block of Glenroie Ave., and formerly of Beach Ave., died Nov. 11, 1995, in the home of her daughter.
Mrs. Lee was a native of Ponzer, N.C. She was the widow of John H. Lee Sr. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Norfolk and Saint Martha's Circle. She was the light of our lives and touched the lives of many people through her volunteer work and will be greatly missed by all.
Survivors include four daughters, Doris Bossie of Virginia Beach, Margaret Moore and Marian Yamamoto, both of Norfolk, Virginia Norman of Columbia, N.C.; three sons, Raymond E. Lee Jr. of Burbank, Ill., John H. Lee Jr. of Easley, S.C., and Joseph C. Lee of Norfolk; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, 1995, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church by Father Julian B. Goodman. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
